Overview

At Shivshakti Agro (India) Private Limited (SAIPL), we are guided by an unwavering commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainability. Our team of dedicated professionals ensures regular production, continuous innovation, and technological advancement through our in-house Research and Development (R&D) wing and quality control laboratories. Backed by a skilled sales team and an extensive dealer network, we guarantee efficient and timely delivery to customers across Eastern and Northeastern India. This operational strength, combined with a constant focus on quality, allows us to maintain the trust of farmers and distributors who rely on our products every day.

Continuous Learning and Industry Integration

We believe that innovation is sustained through knowledge. SAIPL keeps pace with evolving scientific and industry developments by maintaining an ongoing exchange of ideas and expertise. Our teams actively participate in seminars, trade exhibitions, and technical collaborations with national research laboratories. This two-way flow of information—both inward and outward—ensures that our products and processes remain scientifically sound, efficient, and ahead of market trends.

Feed Manufacturing Process

The production of our animal feed follows a rigorous and carefully monitored process designed to ensure consistency, safety, and nutritional value.

Raw materials are first checked for quality, both through physical inspection and analytical testing. Once approved, they are cleaned using specialised machinery and moved to designated bins through automated conveyor systems. The ingredients are then batched automatically based on specific formulations using an auto-batching system.

Next, the batched materials are mixed and ground, then passed through a magnetic separator to eliminate any metal impurities. The mixture is blended homogeneously with essential additives such as vitamins, trace minerals, and amino acids. It then undergoes steam conditioning, which enhances nutrient absorption, eliminates harmful bacteria, and ensures a hygienic feed.

The cooked mash is converted into pellets using a pellet mill. These pellets are cooled, sieved, and packed, or crumbled into smaller particles when needed for young stock feed.

For floating fish feed, the process involves an additional grinding step using a pulveriser. The finely ground mash is extruded using a twin-screw extruder, dried, cooled, coated, and packed. The die configurations in the extruder are adjusted according to the required pellet size, ensuring precision for various fish species and growth stages.

Breeder Farming

Our breeder farms in Udumalpet, Tirupur District, Tamil Nadu, are equipped with state-of-the-art, fully automated, and environmentally controlled houses. Operating under the “All In All Out” system, we maintain separate brooding, growing, and laying houses for our Vencobb parent stock.

Hatching eggs from these farms are transported in a cold chain system to our hatcheries in Dankuni (West Bengal) and Jambari (Assam), ensuring their freshness and biosecurity. Our farms are maintained under strict bio-secured conditions and managed by skilled and unskilled personnel residing on the premises to ensure operational efficiency and disease control.

Bio Gas Generation

In alignment with our commitment to sustainability, we have implemented biogas generation plants at our breeder farms. Poultry waste is digested to produce methane, which powers biogas generators, meeting over 50% of the farm’s daily electricity requirements.

Organic Manure

The by-products of the biiogas process are pure organic manure in both powder and liquid forms. This manure is widely used and appreciated by local farmers for its effectiveness in improving soil health and crop yield. The initiative not only supports environmental conservation but also contributes to local agricultural sustainability.

Breeder Feed Mill

To maintain the highest nutritional standards for our breeder birds, we operate a dedicated feed mill in Tamil Nadu. The feed produced here is subject to stringent quality control and biosecurity protocols, ensuring consistent quality and optimal bird performance.

Hatchery

SAIPL operates state-of-the-art hatcheries in Dankuni (West Bengal) and Jambari (Assam). Using hatching eggs produced from our own breeder farms, we ensure complete control over quality and biosecurity throughout the production cycle.

We produce “Amrit”-brand broiler day-old chicks, which are distributed across Eastern and Northeastern India. Our chicks have consistently commanded a premium in the market for over 16 years due to their high performance, strong immunity, and uniform growth. A portion of these chicks is also retained for our broiler farming operations.

Broiler Livelihood Division

Our Broiler Livelihood Division embodies SAIPL’s mission to empower rural communities. Through contract farming initiatives in West Bengal, we partner with over 500 farmers, providing them with technical guidance, quality feed, and assured buy-back of birds.

This model not only ensures a steady supply of quality poultry for consumers but also enhances rural livelihoods and economic self-sufficiency. Our operations span key regions including Krishnanagar, Burdwan, Ramsagar, and Chakdaha, making a meaningful impact on local communities and the regional poultry ecosystem.
